CREDENTIALS + WHY FREELANCING?

J.D., Stanford Law, 1999. Stanford Law Review. Moot Court.

Clerkship, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

About a decade of private practice at Gibson Dunn in SF and Crowell & Moring in DC (appellate, antitrust, complex litigation, and soft IP litigation).

I’ve been freelancing for six years. In any given quarter, 30% to 60% of my work is repeat business.

I left practice only because I unexpectedly became a successful conceptual artist and painter in 2017. I’m represented by a contemporary conceptual art gallery in Chicago. My portfolio is here and some images are on this site here.
